in other news......

JERRY ONG GOT BOOTED OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha! how great is that?? i mean seriously.. it's about time singapore wakes up and dig their ears! goodness, it's been a long and painful process.. watching Singapore Idol has been very... somewhat like shoving a golf club down the throat.. actually.. i just feel like doing that to the "idols" each week, with the exception of a few of course..

my take on who'll be in the top three..

OLINDA CHO!!!!
DAPHNE KHOO!!!
TAUFIK/SYLVESTER (it's a tie la.. sometimes they're good, sometimes they're not)

i tried running away, hiding away till it's safe to come out again..till it dun hurt no more. but i realised, the more i tried to run, tried to hide, the more it hurts.. yes we're like complex numbers. and somehow, our roots tangled.

i'm sorry.. i love you too much to be fighting..

Sunday, October 10, 2004

you seemed to have just disappeared. just seemed not to care at all. where were you when i needed you most? i was there for you when your heart was trampled over. i picked up your broken pieces and slowly build you up. so how come you weren't by my side when i needed you? how come i was left to fend for myself? i just need to know if you still care about me.. like i still do love you..
sometimes, it hurts alot to see the wall you build to surround you, to protect you, gets slowly penetrated. it's not that i worship you to be hurt by wot you said, but it's the idea that you were so insensitive with your comments. i guess you are human after all and humans do make mistakes.. just that yours were more biting...
of dinner & drunkards

it's pretty scary when people get drunk. i never really get to encounter drunks much - not even when i go cloubbin, cos' usually i just can't be bothered and the pumping music and grinding bodies take the attention away from them. anywhoozelbees, i got to experience drunkards first hand at the company's dinner & dance or as i call it now... dinner and drunks. the whole table, excluding me of course, was drunk. as in pissed drunk. it was really funny and yet at the same time, horrifyingly scary.

funny cos drunk army boys in one huge grand ballroom always spells out trouble and laughable antics. give you an example..

drunkard 1 to the waitress: "auntie! you can take back the fish.. i DON'T want the fish... give me beer.... beer for EVERYONE!!!!"

same drunkard at the end of the nite to the cab driver: "uncle, you go jurong bird park?"
cab driver: "yes! can go.. can go.."
drunkard to uncle: "then you go la!! why you waste time here??"

i ended up cracking up.. it was hilarious. people making a fool out of themselves. screaming out of their car windows at strangers.. no, mortified, clueless strangers.

looking at how they behave, it's interesting to note that it's when you are drunk.. all the walls come down. you let the real you come out and play.

in a party of masquerade, is alcohol then their substitute for a mask? i cannot help but wonder.
