this is weird.. yup. double double weird... the thing about blogs is that everyone gets to read it. and people quote and quote and quote and then you realise the person you quoted something from isn't the original writer! what a weird thing! i mean seriously. Adri, i didn't quote from your blog.. it's from this other ACJC girl... haha weird. thought she actually wrote that by herself.. hmmm... how wird.. ok for a person who's taking his GP and lit exam in 2-3 days... my vocabulary is whacked! hahaha.. what other words are there?? i need a thesaurus for weird! hahaha..

ok.. i'm almost done with econs.. i feel so intellectual suddenly.. history one is a blast! russian rev is so interesting.. on did you guys know that industrialisation in Germany was so interesting.. France was just stupid to equate industrialisation to the FR! haha! ok.. himbo alert!

even this is inescapable.
we hold on to some distorted sense of faith and hope,
hoping, irrationally, that this too will pass away.
hoping, for reprieve to come in any form. Any.
hoping, that we do not fight in vain.
hoping the shadows are just a delusionary shroud to deform our perception. But
no.
nothing happens.
the shadows never go away, nor
does the blackness
tell of anything beyond the darkness it has swallowed.
we fear progeny
of birth to monstrous birth,
of death inevitable,

Of life.
these dilemmas are intractable.
and it is not us who choose to draw this circle.
sporadically
we turn our drowned faces to the light
and show ourselves at windows
of empty rooms
waking to the sun.
we play the dreamer,
the clairvoyant,
the artist
who will never be heard.
i still hope,
but even this I realise:
all I write is futile.

"People who can't take it run away. Fear that.. back to circumstances isn't it.
We all return to the rest of our lives in the end, run back to pragmatism to justify our endings.
Because running away is convenient."

got that from somewhere... how true!
